How a Wedding Floral Concept Comes to Life

Every floral design project begins with a story. Before choosing roses, dahlias or hydrangeas, our work starts with listening to the couple and understanding the atmosphere they wish to create: romantic and delicate, contemporary and dramatic, natural or rich in contrasts.

The first step is to gather inspiration, colours, materials and emotions. A venue, a fabric, a work of art or even a cherished memory can become the starting point for a truly personal design. This is where the moodboard takes shape: a visual collection that brings together the colour palette, shapes, textures and overall style of the floral arrangements and decorations.

A colour palette is much more than a list of colours. It is all about balance: dominant shades, complementary tones and subtle accents that add depth. For a modern wedding, for example, burgundy, ivory and green can be combined to create striking contrasts and interesting volumes. For a more ethereal atmosphere, blush, white and natural tones can create a light, luminous and delicate effect.

The venue also plays a fundamental role. Its architecture, lighting, landscape and furnishings help define the proportions and materials of the design. An effective floral concept does not conceal the space; it interacts with it, enhancing its most beautiful features.

Only once the overall atmosphere has been established do we move on to selecting the flowers and designing the individual arrangements. The bridal bouquet, ceremony flowers and table decorations should all speak the same visual language, without necessarily being identical.

The most beautiful result is one in which every element feels like a natural part of the same story.
